Heritage Farm Sleigh Ride

Mom and Dad accompanied us on on the sleigh ride this year. There is so much to do at Heritage Farm. In the barn there was a petting zoo of farm animals. In the hay loft full of hay there were swings for the kids. Outside there was a grain with corn in it for the kids to play.

Kaden chose this beautiful Percheron to ride on. His name is Fred.

Above is Santa's dog, Abby. She fell asleep in a cabin full of activity nestled among the gifts.
Santa had a wonderful sense of humor and really treated the kids nicely. At the end Kaden ran up to Santa and asked if he could stay awake and meet him when he came to our house on Christmas.
The sleigh pulled up to this cabin where the kids could have hot chocolate and eat with Santa. Santa greeted the children at the door. Kaden told Santa that his Poppy is getting a box of coal for Christmas. Santa laughed and said he'd talk about it with him later.

I loved being on the farm. This trip is always the highlight of December!!

Meggy Quote

"When I was a baby I had a binky and I LOVED that binky SO much."

Meggy has been binkless for about 8 months. Is she *ever* going to forget?

Kaden Quote

Every day Kaden asks if he can open the gifts under the tree. Multiple inquiries in a day. He brought home a neatly wrapped gift from preschool. To: Mommy & Daddy From: Kaden. I squeeed with joy and began to open. Kaden promptly took the present away from me with this negotiable statement, "I want to open one of my presents." To this I replied with a smile, "Nice try." Kaden placed my gift under the tree and responded with a huge grin, "You have to wait until Christmas."

Buddy Breath

With her face all crinkled up into a cute smile Meghan told me one morning this last week that my breath smelled like Buddy. Buddy is my parent's dog.
